It's boring.

My 9 year old boy claims that it is "boring". It must be because he chose to clean his room over playing this game!

I feel like I was ripped off. I was expecting something more like Wii Sports or Wii Sport Resort (both of which I enjoy playing both alone and with family and friends). I bought this game on a whim when picking up a second motion controller.

When I started playing the game with a friend, we were pretty bummed that you have to pick a team and a team member, rather than just your Mii. I didn't really like how some of the games played, they were awkward and the delay was pretty off.

This game was a bit of a let down. I should have known, since the price was marked down $10 when I bought it, but I thought it was just a good deal. The game would be a lot better if you could use your own Mii and your Mii's skills increase as you play more (much like the other Sport games).
Just As Fun AS Deca Sports 2 And Just As Unfairly Rated As Well

After playing the Deca Sports 2 I knew I had to get the first one as well and I'm enjoying that game just as much as the second one, and just like Deca Sports 2 this game I feel has been unjustly rated by people. Like with the previous mentioned game a lot of these sport games here rely on timing or correct movements of the Wii remote you can't just go smashing buttons or throwing the remote around and expect to win the game tournament easily. I'm amazed at how many fun sport games there are on here from archery to soccer and like Deca Sports 2 the video animation matches the game perfectly for it, similar again to Wii Resort and such. While you cant use your personal Mii for the games you can customize your characters for the games so no complaints there and while some will have there favorite sports(Soccer for me) and their least liked(Curling for me) you will have a great deal of fun and enjoyment playing these games as you have with the games like Wii Resort or Wii Sports both which are of course still entertaining and fun to play, so if you have these games already complete that Wii library of your and try out Deca Sports 1&2 you won't be disappointed with that decision....
DO NOT Buy This Game. Save Your Money!

We bought this game because it included curling. Unfortunately, the horrendous controls prevent any enjoyment of the game. The speed at which the stone is thrown is determined by a completely uncontrollable power bar. This defect makes it impossible to enjoy the game, as strategy is completely removed from the gameplay. Avoid this game at all costs.
Waste of time and money

With all of the Wii games out there I guess there is bound to be really bad ones and awesome ones. This is one of the really bad ones! Hard to figure out and play...don't waste your time and money.
