Huge Disappointment

| I grew up watching re-runs of this game on t.v., and so I decided to buy the ds version of it. I was so excited and had the highest expectations of it being as enjoyable as the show, but it was a big let down. The game has some glitches in it, and sometimes takes a while to start up (I bought it new and sealed). That's not even the worst of it though, because the questions are so ridiculous and not well thought out. On a lot of the questions you'd think the answers would be obvious, but clearly they didn't actually ask a survey, because it's the last answer you'd think of! I became very frustrated and gave up on it after playing it for a month. Was definitely not worth the investment. |
FAMILY FEUD

I like the Family Feud, so I brought this game and I think it is fun. The game is a duplicate of the real game show. In each game you are given four rounds with the first and second being regular points, the third round double the points, and the fourth round triple the points. It also gives you face off at the beginning of each round to see which family gets to play, also it gives you the sudden death round only if neither of the families have 300 points.
This game does have some cons too it. They are: 1) It only gives you 12 families to play against/unlock, so if you beat all of them, the only thing you can probably do is play against them again and 2) If you play the fast money round, it never tells you what the #1 most popular answer was, like in the game. But oh well I still like it and think it is fun |
This game isn't all that great.

I played it against the computer and it asked me name a famous Johnson, so of course the first thing that pops up in my head is Magic. That wasn't even one of the answers it was wrong. I had to keep going back and forth with the other team until sudden death was over in order to reach 300 points it was ridiculous the answers i was giving them were great, but for some reason i guess just not good enough for the people who made the game. I wanted to finish it and do the fast rounds at the end to win the prize, but it took nearly a half an hour later just to get through sudden death and i gave up and quit the game. I really couldn't be bothered anymore. I'm very dissappointed in this one :(

Really Really Bad

| Only 12 episodes that last 15 minutes per episode. Very awkward to type in answers and only a tiny amount of time to give your answer. Pause and you loose your game. It was a very expensive disapointment. I would rather play this game for free online. |
Goin back to the PC game

I am a previous owner of Family Feud on the PC. We absolutely loved it and played it every game night. When I saw they had it for the Wii I was pumped!! My biggest disappointment was in the "Fast Money" round. Typically you have one player on the team go first while another leaves the room or closes their eyes etc. (On the PC game you only had to close your eyes because the game didn't read the questions out loud to you) On this game not only does it read the questions out loud but the previous players answers stay on the board. No chance for having the question be a surprise for the 2nd player. In my opinion this takes a lot of the fun away.
As previous reviewers have said, it's very difficult to type your answer in time if you make a spelling mistake. Some answers are way out there and the avatars are very basic with very little chance to customize them. Why couldn't we use our Miis instead?
The basic fun of the game is still there but it could have been much better. I don't think it was worth it for the price. |
