Ok, i have a DS and i want wifi without buying that thing that hooks up to the computer. But my brother told me that i can get it fromm mour Wii is that true?

As far as i know the wii doesn't broadcast wireless signals, it only receives them just like the ds. you'll need a wireless router or modem.

You're going to need a WiFi Router to get your DS online... there's pretty much NO WAY around it. The Wii can connect to the DS wirelessly, BUT it's LOCAL (AD HOC) CONNECTION ONLY. What this means is that the Wii can only transmit information it has on hand to your DS & vice versa.
