Question: Why isn't my nintendo wii working?

I have a nintendo wii that was working until a couple of weeks ago... It switches on, ejects disc's etc but the connection to the tv is not working. There is no picture or sound. I have tried connecting it to different tv's and even tried a different cord. Can someone please help me. My children are driving me insane. I cannot go another weekend without it!! It hasn't been modified, The light turns from red to green when I turn it on. I changed it from room to room. I hope one of my children haven't dropped it, could that be a cause? And no SD card

Need more info... does the power light change?? red/ orange/ green? do you have a SD card/ memory stick in it? what happened since the last time it worked? is it modded?
