I've had this for a few months now, and I have almost nothing but good things to say about it.

My main concern was whether it would affect my game play at all. I honestly cannot tell that there is any lag caused by this being wireless.

Some have mentioned connection issues. I've had none once I figured out that you need to actually be in a game that needs the nunchuck for the connection to take effect and hold. Enter the game that needs it and then hit the small connection button and you should be set. Thus, for example, you need to be in Wii Sports Boxing, not just Wii Sports, when you hit connect. Alternatively, you can wait for the Wii to say you need the device, and then hit the connection button. You can attempt to connect as many times as you want if you're not in such a game, and it won't work right. I've yet to have it loose a connection during a game that requires the nunchuck.

I recharge it every 3-4 days after approximately 2-3 hours use. I have no idea how long the battery life is because it's never run dead. Rather than charging it off the Wii, I charge it off my computer. You do not need to use the on/off switch, because it automatically turns off after losing the connection to the Wii remote when you turn off your Wii.

Oh, the comment about it being a PITA to string the strap through the device is correct, and that's the only negative. I used a safety pin to force it through and then pulled from the other side. Anyway, that's just a one-time thing, but it was difficult.

Edit: I've had this device several months now, and I still love it.
Great when it works. . .

It just doesn't...I loved it at first, thought it was one of my best ideas. Then it quit syncing up. I am back to using the wired nun-chuk, which is a pain. But not as painful as spending 5 - 10 minutes trying to get this one to sync and still giving up.

The Wireless Nunchuk does what it was intended for but it cannot be used with the Wii MotionPlus. It was difficult to remove it from the Wii Wand Controller. Also it can only be recharged via a USB port.
Mine (from Amazon) won't sync with itself. It's going back.

First of all let me state that unless the rest of these reviews are shills, the concept must be working in some environments. Just not in mine. It's unfortunate too, because I had high hopes for this device. I wouldn't even care if I had to sync it every time I turned it on - a nuisance yes, but worth the wireless convenience. I'm just a little cynical right now because I've tried everything to get it to sync but no dice. What's strange is that it behaves like it's turned on but it JUST WON'T SYNC. Maybe I'm being a tad melodramatic with a bad unit, but then again:

1) Why doesn't AMAZON sell this product anymore, and
2) If this concept was proven, why doesn't Nintendo make one?

Anyway, it's going back and I won't be able to get another to edit this review. C'est La Vie, iCON LTD.
Excellent

I love this because there's no wire to hit you in the face when Boxing or jumping around.
