not as expected

I picked this because of good reviews saying how realistic it was, and that it had my fave player in it. I soon sold the game.
The players were pretty close to their real life counterparts, movements and grunts. A couple of the mini games held my attention for a day.

The career mode didn't make much sense, I couldn't seem to get anywhere because there was not instruction on what I should do. The tutorial mode didn't offer much help for learning the different shots, it just said to do them, but not really how. The mini games were dumb, if not too difficult. The biggest problem to me was that the ball seemed to never go out of bounds. It was just long rallies until I missed the ball it seemed. Also it never seemed to register if I was doing forehand or backhand. To me, this didn't even play as real as the original Wii Sports tennis. the game play didn't do it for me.
Hard at first, than really fun!

I am used to playing Wii sports tennis, but I wanted something a bit more realistic and challenging. Well this game did it for me. It is definitely more challenging and with Wii motion it is more real. I enjoy it and think for the price the game is worth it.
Good workout if you are familiar with tennis

Reviewer: Abigail K. Colucci,
So, I'm giving this 4-5 stars because I purchased this for my husband, not myself, and he loves it! It took a bit of practice to get his swings right and, after a month of usage, he's finally winning games. Its a bit tough for people who know nothing about tennis - if you are looking for a Wii Sports Tennis this is not the game for you - but since he has taken lessons he is familiar with the swings. The matches are fun but the little practice games are really cute. There is one game you have to kill aliens before they get to your net and another game that you have to feed the right food to various animals, both of which make you practice your swings and aim. I have to say that I greatly dislike playing against him. It doesn't double the screens like Wii Sports does and its really hard to swing at the proper time and actually see the balls coming. I would also like to add that its a great workout if that's what you're looking for!
HUGE disappointment

this was a HUGE disappointment! Terrible lag between the swing of the remote and seeing the character actually hit the ball, Wii Sports Tennis is so much more on. It does not matter how hard or soft I swing while serving the ball speed varies by no more then 2MPH, how can that be?? A true swing of the body can not be accomplished if one wants to keep up with the pace of the opponent, it is rather easier to just sit down in front of the screen and win every match while just flicking the racket through your wrist. Why is my controller resetting to a standard remote from Wii Plus after every game? The supposed rock music borders on Metal and is downright annoying. The coach mode is a joke as well. While practicing a serve it does not matter how I angle the remote how hard the swing is or whether I just flick it out of my wrist with ease, the serve is always spot on. And why do I constantly need to point the remote at the arrow after every point when playing with Wii+???? I just want to play through! I thought I bought the game for its accuracy and not for the pretty looking umbrellas to the right of the court. I will rather play with Wii's cartoon characters and the over-sized ball for the accuracy. What a wast of my $$$! Wow
Very Good

It will be excellent if I could figure out how to hit hard with my wii remote. Other online players can but I think they are not using wii but PS3 or Xbox version.
